Rara Avis is Latin for "rare bird" and is a 77% Grenache, 18% Mourvèdre, and 5% Syrah from Olsen Ranch, RKP, and Tudor Vineyards. Bright red fruit aromas and flavors of sultry earthy notes weaving through. Lovely and exotic!
100% Pinot Noir from Le Cadeau Vineyard. Lovely red fruit, black tea, earthy aromas and flavors. Pure, fresh, clean, spicy, and very sexy.
100% Syrah from the original planting of Syrah at Olsen Ranch. Aromas and flavors of red fruit, lavender, sage, minerals, and sizzling steak on the grill . Slightly funky (as good Syrah should be) but not over the top. Delicious!

Our 18th vintage of Batchelor's Button Cabernet is from biodynamic certified Jolet and Shaw 32 Red Mountain vineyards. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted to be delicious in the near term but continue to improve over time. The key to having long lived wines are acidity, great vineyards, and gentle winemaking and the Batchelor's Button is a perfect example of that.

100% Petit Verdot from Dionysus Vineyard. A Jongleur is a medieval wanderer, entertainer, and juggler. We borrowed the term Jongleur as a metaphor for our lifestyle as small business owners, winemakers, and parents of three daughters.
