2022 À Bloc Malbec
100% Malbec from Champoux Vineyard. À Bloc is a cycling term that means "to go all out, even beyond the point of recovery" (do not forget the diacritical mark above the À, it sounds like "ahhh"). It is also a metaphor for the winemaking at Isenhower Cellars.
Tasting notes
Dark black/red hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, black plums, coffee bean, purple flowers, white pepper, loamy soil, and dried tobacco leaf. The texture is dense and inviting, richly concentrated in the mid-palate. The finish is lengthy and long. Enjoy through 2037.
