2018 Children's Reserve Cuvee
71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot. Denise and Brett Isenhower selected only the best barrels of each varietal to create the 2018 Children's Reserve Cuvée. The artwork was created by our three daughters when they were ages 12,14, and 16.
With dark and rich aromas of black currant, sea salt, olive tapenade, dried mint, and herbs, the Children's Reserve Cuvée is comprised of the best barrels of the vintage. The mouth feel has a lightness and freshness with intensity of dark red fruit, acidity, and restrained but copious tannins, with a finish that lasts forever. The taste is of a properly aged Left Bank Bordeaux made in Washington. The CRC is classy, lovely, perfectly aged, and delicious.
